🥗 Theme of the Week: Healthy & Unhealthy Foods 🥕 Grade R Theme: Vegetables It's another exciting week of learning at Yummies Nursery School as we discover how the foods we eat help our bodies grow, play, and stay healthy! Our younger learners will be exploring the difference between healthy and unhealthy foods. Through fun stories, interactive games, creative art, and hands-on activities, they'll learn which foods give us energy, help us grow strong, and keep our bodies healthy, while also understanding that treats are best enjoyed in moderation. Our Grade R learners will be taking a closer look at vegetables. They'll discover the many colours, shapes, and varieties of vegetables, learn where they grow, and explore why these nutritious foods are an important part of a balanced diet. Activities throughout the week will encourage healthy eating habits while developing language, observation, and early science skills. At Yummies Nursery School, we believe in nurturing healthy bodies, growing minds, and grateful hearts. We thank God for providing the wonderful foods that nourish us and for the opportunity to teach our children to care for the amazing bodies He has given them. We look forward to a week filled with learning, laughter, healthy choices, and plenty of fun!

👩‍🚒👮‍♀️ THEME OF THE WEEK: COMMUNITY WORKERS 👨‍⚕️👩‍🏫 This week our little learners are discovering all about the amazing people who help, protect and care for our communities! 🚒🚑 From doctors and teachers to firefighters, police officers and so many more, we’ll be learning about the important jobs they do every day. 💛🏘️ 🐑🧶 GRADE R THEME: WOOL FARMING 🧶🐑 Our Grade R learners are getting woolly this week! 🐑🌾 They’ll be learning about sheep farming, how sheep are cared for, where wool comes from and how it is turned into the cosy products we use every day. 🧶✨ Another week of learning, exploring and discovering the world around us! 🌍💚

👩‍🚒👮‍♀️ THEME OF THE WEEK: COMMUNITY WORKERS: WEEK 2 👨‍⚕️👩‍🏫 We’re continuing our journey of discovering the amazing people who help, care for and keep our communities running! 🏘️❤️ Our learners will be learning more about different community workers and the important roles they play in our everyday lives. 🌍🌱 GRADE R THEME: A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT 🌱🌍 Our Grade R learners are learning how we can all help keep our environment healthy and happy! ♻️🌳 From caring for nature and keeping our surroundings clean to reducing waste and protecting our planet, we’ll be discovering that even little hands can make a big difference. 💚
