🌈 Theme of the Week 🌈 This week at Yummies Nursery School, our little learners are diving into the wonderful world of Shapes & Colours! From bright reds and sunny yellows to circles, squares and triangles, we’re exploring how colour and shape fill our world with fun and creativity. 🎨🔺🟡 Our Grade R class is focusing on Healthy Living, learning about good habits, nutritious food, exercise and taking care of our bodies. Strong bodies, healthy choices and happy hearts in the making! 💚🍎 Every week is a new adventure in learning and growing.

☀️ Theme of the Week: Summer ☀️ It’s all about Summer at Yummies Nursery School! 🌴🌈 This week, all our classes including Grade R are exploring sunny days, beach fun, summer clothing, refreshing treats and the sights and sounds of the season. Through stories, art, music and play, we’re celebrating everything that makes summer bright and exciting. Let the sunshine learning begin! 🌞🍉

🎨🔺 Grade R Theme of the Week: Shapes & Colours 🔵🟨 This week our Grade R learners are exploring the bright and beautiful world of Shapes & Colours! From circles and squares to rainbows of colour, we’re discovering how shapes and colours are all around us. Through art, games, sorting activities and creative play, we’re building early maths skills while having lots of colourful fun. 🌈✨

🍂✨ Theme of the Week ✨🍂 This week at Yummies Nursery School, we’re embracing the beauty of Autumn, while our Grade R learners are focusing on the comforting theme of “Home.” 🏡💛 Through creative activities, storytelling, and play, our little ones will explore the changing seasons, warm colours, and all the special things that make a house a home. We love watching them connect with nature and celebrate the places and people that make them feel safe and loved. 🌿🍁

🚸✨ Theme of the Week ✨🚸 This week at Yummies Nursery School, we’re focusing on “Safety in and Around the House,” while our Grade R learners are exploring the important theme of “Safety.” 🏡💛 Through engaging activities, discussions, and role play, the children will learn simple, age-appropriate ways to stay safe at home and in their everyday environments. Building awareness and confidence helps our little ones make safe choices while still having fun and exploring the world around them! 🌟

🐾✨ Theme of the Week ✨🐾 This week at Yummies Nursery School, we’re exploring the wonderful world of Pets, while our Grade R learners are focusing on the special theme of “My Family.” 🏡💛 Through stories, creative play, and fun activities, the children will learn about caring for animals, as well as the love, roles, and connections within their families. We love seeing our little ones share about their furry friends and the people who mean the most to them! 🐶🐱🌟

🌸 Theme of the Week: Mother’s Day 🌸🌦 Grade R Theme: Weather 🌦 This week at Yummies Nursery School, we are celebrating the special role that moms and mother figures play in our lives 💛 Our little ones will be exploring love, appreciation, and kindness through fun Mother’s Day activities, crafts, and stories... all while learning how to express gratitude in their own unique ways. Our Grade R class will also be diving into the wonderful world of weather, discovering sunshine, rain, wind, and everything in between ☀️🌧️ We’re looking forward to a week full of creativity, learning, and lots of smiles!

🐾🍂 Theme of the Week: Pets 🍂🐾🍁 Grade R Theme: Autumn 🍁 This week at Yummies Nursery School, we’re exploring the wonderful world of pets - learning about our furry (and not-so-furry!) friends, how to care for them, and the love and responsibility that comes with having a pet 🐶🐱 Our Grade R class will be embracing the beauty of Autumn, discovering the changing colours, cooler weather, and all the little seasonal wonders this time of year brings 🍂 We’re excited for a week filled with learning, sharing, and lots of tail-wagging fun!

Our little ones will be learning all about farm animals - what they eat, the sounds they make, and how they help us in our daily lives 🐑🐓 Our Grade R class will be exploring the exciting world of sound, discovering how we hear, different types of sounds, and even making some fun noise of our own! 🎵 It’s going to be a lively, hands-on week filled with learning, laughter, and lots of “moo”, “baa”, and “cluck”! 🐮🐑🐔

🚗✈️ Theme of the Week: Transport ✈️🚗 👀🌈 Grade R Theme: Sight 🌈👀 This week at Yummies Nursery School, we’re on the move as we explore the exciting world of transport! Our little ones will learn about different ways we travel - by road, air, and even water - through fun activities, stories, and imaginative play 🚂🚢 Our Grade R class will be focusing on the sense of sight, discovering how we see the world around us, recognising colours, shapes, and observing the many details in our environment 👁️ We’re looking forward to a bright and busy week filled with learning, discovery, and adventure!
