🐾✨ Theme of the Week ✨🐾 This week at Yummies Nursery School, we’re exploring the wonderful world of Pets, while our Grade R learners are focusing on the special theme of “My Family.” 🏡💛 Through stories, creative play, and fun activities, the children will learn about caring for animals, as well as the love, roles, and connections within their families. We love seeing our little ones share about their furry friends and the people who mean the most to them! 🐶🐱🌟

🌸 Theme of the Week: Mother’s Day 🌸🌦 Grade R Theme: Weather 🌦 This week at Yummies Nursery School, we are celebrating the special role that moms and mother figures play in our lives 💛 Our little ones will be exploring love, appreciation, and kindness through fun Mother’s Day activities, crafts, and stories... all while learning how to express gratitude in their own unique ways. Our Grade R class will also be diving into the wonderful world of weather, discovering sunshine, rain, wind, and everything in between ☀️🌧️ We’re looking forward to a week full of creativity, learning, and lots of smiles!

🐾🍂 Theme of the Week: Pets 🍂🐾🍁 Grade R Theme: Autumn 🍁 This week at Yummies Nursery School, we’re exploring the wonderful world of pets - learning about our furry (and not-so-furry!) friends, how to care for them, and the love and responsibility that comes with having a pet 🐶🐱 Our Grade R class will be embracing the beauty of Autumn, discovering the changing colours, cooler weather, and all the little seasonal wonders this time of year brings 🍂 We’re excited for a week filled with learning, sharing, and lots of tail-wagging fun!

🐄🌾 Theme of the Week: Farm Animals 🌾🐄🔊🎶 Grade R Theme: Sound 🎶🔊 This week at Yummies Nursery School, we’re heading down to the farm! Our little ones will be learning all about farm animals - what they eat, the sounds they make, and how they help us in our daily lives 🐑🐓 Our Grade R class will be exploring the exciting world of sound, discovering how we hear, different types of sounds, and even making some fun noise of our own! 🎵 It’s going to be a lively, hands-on week filled with learning, laughter, and lots of “moo”, “baa”, and “cluck”! 🐮🐑🐔

🚗✈️ Theme of the Week: Transport ✈️🚗 👀🌈 Grade R Theme: Sight 🌈👀 This week at Yummies Nursery School, we’re on the move as we explore the exciting world of transport! Our little ones will learn about different ways we travel - by road, air, and even water - through fun activities, stories, and imaginative play 🚂🚢 Our Grade R class will be focusing on the sense of sight, discovering how we see the world around us, recognising colours, shapes, and observing the many details in our environment 👁️ We’re looking forward to a bright and busy week filled with learning, discovery, and adventure!

🚗✈️🚂 Theme Time at Yummies Nursery School 🖐️✨ Another exciting week of discovery is rolling into Yummies Nursery School as we continue our Transport theme for the second week in a row! Our little explorers are still having wheels of fun learning about different ways people travel across land, sky, and sea. From zooming cars to soaring aeroplanes and mighty trains, the classroom has been buzzing like a tiny traffic jam powered by imagination. 🚦🌍 Through stories, songs, creative art, sensory play, and hands-on activities, the children are building vocabulary, coordination, confidence, and curiosity while exploring the wonderful world of transport. For our Grade R learners, this week’s special theme is Touch ✋🌈Our Grade R class will be diving into the fascinating sense of touch through exciting sensory activities and tactile exploration. From soft and fluffy to rough and bumpy, the children will discover how we use our hands and skin to understand the world around us. It’s a week filled with texture trails, sensory surprises, and curious little fingers hard at work! At Yummies, every week is an adventure where learning comes alive through play, creativity, and joyful discovery. 🌟

❄️🍊 Theme of the Week at Yummies Nursery School 🍋❄️ This week at Yummies Nursery School, our little learners are stepping into a season of sensory wonder as we explore Winter & Citrus! The classroom is filled with frosty imagination and sunny bursts of citrus brightness. Children are discovering the contrast between chilly winter days and the zesty, colourful world of oranges, lemons, and naartjies. Through creative art, storytelling, music, and hands-on play, they are exploring colours, textures, and seasonal changes in a fun and meaningful way. ☁️🍊✨ Meanwhile, our Grade R Theme of the Week is: Taste & Smell 👃👅Our Grade R learners are becoming tiny scientists as they investigate two of the most powerful senses. From sniffing citrus scents to tasting different flavours, they are learning how smell and taste work together to help us experience the world. Expect curious faces, giggles, and plenty of “yummy or not-so-yummy?” discoveries! At Yummies Nursery School, learning is always a sensory journey filled with curiosity, creativity, and joy. 🌈
